Directions & Parking

From the Mass Pike

Take the Mass Pike to Exit 17 in Newton Corner. Follow the signs to Washington St. and head west, following the signs for West Newton. Proceed on Washington St. for 1.2 mi. Turn right onto Walnut St. Cross over Rt. 16 (Watertown St) and turn left on to Minot Place. Day Middle School is at the bottom of the hill.

From Route 128 - US 95

Get off Rt. 128 at Exit 24. At the top of the off ramp bear and turn right onto Rt. 30 (Commonwealth Ave.) heading east (toward Boston). Continue on Commonwealth Ave for 3.4 mi to Walnut St. (at Newton City Hall). Turn left onto Walnut St., proceed 1.5 mi, crossing over the Mass Pike and then Rt. 16 (Watertown St). Turn left on to Minot Place. Day Middle School is at the bottom of the hill.

Parking

Parking at our school is very tight and on-site parking is limited.

You may find on-street parking on Albemarle Road, Walnut Street, Linwood Street or Crafts Street. Just be sure to read the signs for any parking restrictions.

There is 1 hour parking on Walnut Street, right at the end of Minot Place. This parking is just steps from the main office and probably your best bet for parking for a brief meeting.
